Long, narrow gardens can be a challenge, but they’re always full of potential. For this one, the design centred around drawing the eye and inviting movement through the space. We installed a winding path that gently led you down the garden to a round seating area, complete with firepit as a central focal point. Planting beds on either side added softness and colour, while keeping things manageable for the client. It’s a garden that feels purposeful and inviting — a great example of design working hand in hand with how a space is used.

This project was all about balance — creating a space that felt both productive and peaceful. We built a new kitchen garden complete with a greenhouse, raised vegetable beds, feature hedging, and an informal seating area. The mix of materials made it something really special: rustic wooden sleepers alongside a poured concrete bench, softened by low hedging and tied together with steel edging and self-binding gravel. It’s a space that flows naturally into the rest of the garden, but also stands confidently on its own — a spot to work, rest, and enjoy.
